There are 36 days until Pottermore beta welcome e-mails are done. Here is why I think that is crap.
One million beta invites were sent out. Out of that million about 30 thousand are now in (approximate). So, if you do the math, Pottermore should be releasing 26,944 welcome emails out a day for the next month.
BUT they have a pattern. Monday, Wednesday, Friday. Since there are only 16 Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays left, Pottermore will have to let in 60,625 emails on each of those days here on out. That is about DOUBLE the people that ARE ALREADY IN.
So what if they keep going the rate they?re going? Say September 30 isn?t the last day and they can keep going as long as they want. If 30,000 people are in now (remember, this is an approximate guess) then they are letting in 6000 people for each day they send out e-mails (there have been 5 days up to now). So, to reach 1 million at 15,000 emails a week, 66.6 weeks. Everyone who registered for the beta will be in by November 16? of next year.
