Political parties imploding, populist movements, a giant move to an authoritarian right
Have you seen The great hack, l'affaire Cambridge Analytica? (on Netflix)
(sorry, I spitting out recos on you
)
Hm, it's only french podcasts. I enjoy very much Community manager, about weird web communities. It's really the best, most fun podcast ever - not always though, it's just that the last episode was about the peeps who drink their own pee to cure everything, with true historical facts on old parisian "sanisettes" (ancient men's toilets
). Disgusting on the edge tho!
Laisse-moi kiffer de Madmoizelle is pretty fun too (they talk about their favorites stuff).
I like Programme B by Binge audio : everyday they invite someone to talk about a topic in particular. The quality varies a lot depending of the person invited. Sometimes, it's an old boring university teacher, sometimes it's ok ! My favorites were the one about
Epstein and
Tecktonik : danser, mourir, recommencer (several episodes about Tecktonik danse, with great work on the music, really moving - and yes I know the tecktonik is the most outdated thing ever - that's the point !
. It's also a bit nostalgic, because I was a teenager at the time, and my main goal in life was to go to the Metropolis club, even though I already perceived Tecktonik as something really lame!).
Le Tchip gives me that same experience of coziness than Laisse-moi kiffer, except they talk about black culture (I like when the people doing the podcast have a good chemistry).
Parler comme jamais about linguistic and french langage (I love Laélia Véron, she's a researcher and very accessible).
Oh, I forgot Transfert on Slate. A person talks about his or her life, at least one thing that has happened, again, really moving, and often times breathtaking.
But hey there is
a whole topic about that question if you want to explore tons of podcasts!
Definitively gonna watch Philosophy tube, and I'll try Donoteat01 (but yeah, it's maybe too specific for me!). Thank you!
