Hi!
Has anyone watched "The trail of the Chicago 7"? It has been released on Netflix a few days back. Overall, I would say that is a good movie but it is very... American. I watched a YouTube video afterwards explaining the main differences between the reality and this show. It was to be expected that the director would take some liberties in the scenario. However, I found some changes upsetting, especially regarding the federal prosecutor who was described in real life as a pitbull and was portrayed by Gordon-Levitt as a good American citizen in the film.
I watched the movie because of Sacha Baron Cohen, but I think I was more impressed by the performance of Eddie Redmayne. Funnily enough, I think the best actor was the one playing the judge. He was absolutely brilliant: I just wanted to slap his face during the entire movie. He made me believe it.
All in all, it is a good picture and I'll definitely recommend it.
Also, have you watched Borat 2? (I am watching Baron Cohen movies at the moment, I cannot help it)
