Did you think about "un Gars/une Fille" ? It's not really a french series but maybe it can interested your students.

I'm kind of worried...my best friend was suppose to give birth last friday and nothing happenned so far. She's very anxious so that's not goin to help the baby to come! Plus she lives in Birmingham, I feel so useless! I can't do anything to help her and she seems so desperate ooh:

I invited some of my friends from highschool for a little party, but for the moment we are only 5, the others can't come. And I'm not a leader, I don't know how to "animate it". So ... I think they are going to be disappointed, and I really don't like that idea !

J'ai besoin de votre aide les filles (surtout celles qui comprennent bien l'anglais) !
Alors, j'ai des questions sur cette vidéo, mais je comprends pas du tout une phrase, celle de 05:09. Elle commence et finit par "The treatment [...] torture." (enfin il y a environ trois phrases entre les deux mots que je viens de donner)

"The treatments slaves received from their masters were very tremendously. Some owners were brutal sadists who worked their slaves mercilessly and threatened them with a corporal discipline so painful that it demanded for torture."

I think I'm wrong with the "demanded" because I don't really understand the sentence in that case... But I'm sure one of the madz will correct it! Anyway, I think instead of demanded, it's something like "was like". Hope I helped you out!

And it's "threatened them with corporal discipline" not "a corporal discipline"
